How to Request for a PSA Certificate of No Marriage (CENOMAR) Online

Do you plan on getting married anytime soon? Before you plan the details of your forthcoming wedding (and congratulations, by the way!), make sure that you have got everything you need right on your to-get list. A CENOMAR is a document that states that a person has not married yet. This is one of the conditions for getting a marriage license. This is required for the government to legally recognize your wedding in the Philippines. If this is something you need to obtain anytime soon, then make sure to read the rest of this guide.

A person is considered single if he or she has never been married – no surprise there, right? That said, if marriage was annulled or declared invalid, the individual is still considered married. So, any legal decision that involves one’s civil status needs to be supported by documents such as either a CENOMAR or a marriage certificate. Now, you might be thinking about how one can possibly secure this document as conveniently as possible, especially during these times. Fortunately, the government has made this process much more convenient for Filipinos now. You will learn the various ways on how you can request a CENOMAR in the following sections, so be sure to read until the end!

Imagine how convenient these online services are for those living far away from the city, even abroad!

Unlike other civil instruments, CENOMAR has no specific prerequisites. Filling out an online form and supplying basic personal information is all that is required to apply for a CENOMAR.
